There is a power the world forgot.
It does not shout, nor strike.
It waits- beneath the breath,
Beneath the surface of thought,
In the pause before the next step.

You do not need to sit for hours.
The door is always ajar.
One breath, if taken with truth,
Can lift the veil.
A simple scan of the body,
A whisper to your cells,
And the remembering begins.

This knowledge is not new.
It was sung by the winds
And carved into silence
Long before books were bound.
We knew it once,
When feet were bare
And food was a prayer,
When water was a mirror,
And stillness was a teacher.

Eat whole.
Drink pure.
Not as a rule,
But as a return.
Let the fog of the world fall away
So thought can run clear
Like a spring unchained from frost.

There is a joy so quiet,
So full,
It lays you down
Like sunlight on the grass.
Tears of happiness-
as the body opens to light.

Walk as if the ground rises to meet you.
Not in pride, but in praise.
Let love pour from you-
Not because you try,
But because it overflows.

Speak as if your words shape the sky.
Because they do.
Each syllable is a seed.
Each silence, a blessing.

Even on the greyest day,
A thread of gold winds through.
You are never lost.
Only called inward.
Hold to that thread,
And it will lead you home.

Afterword

This poem is a reminder. It speaks to the quiet truth that lives in all of us- the knowing we were born with, the wisdom that cannot be taught but only recalled.

You do not need to chase states of peace or power meditating and visualising. A breath, a moment of intention, a return to nature and truth- that is enough.

Our bodies already know how to heal. Our words already shape the world. Our presence is already a light.

This is for those who are ready to remember,
and for those who have always known.
